While Sequoia Lodge is completely private, it has access to the leafy 30-acre Mount Lofty Estate which is home to the award-winning fine dining Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant, and the Arthur Waterhouse Cocktail Lounge and Champagne Bar. The Gatekeeper’s Day Spa cottage sits just outside of the historical entrance gate. Mount Lofty Estate is also home to South Australia’s two highest altitude vineyards, ancient underground Mount Lofty springs, and offers access to a multitude of easy walking paths and moderate hiking trails.

Whether it is an executive retreat, a conference, or a VIP experience you are after, the lodge team is excited to work with and for you to create the event of a lifetime.
Sequoia guests have exclusive use of the lodge’s lounge which features multiple fireplaces, comfortable sunken lounges, 180° views across the valley, and a panoramic sun deck. Within the lodge grounds, there are artesian spring-fed hot pools, an infinity pool and a wildlife enclosure. A tennis court and several walking trails can be accessed from the adjacent estate grounds.
Part of Sequoia’s philosophy is to connect you with the land and its people through a range of intimate and curated onsite experiences that are included in your stay. As part of these daily and seasonally changing experiences listen to ancient dreamtime stories, savour and learn from artisan producers, enjoy a complimentary yoga session or join a guided tour of the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden. Sequoia’s open-plan suites boast panoramic valley views from the sunken lounge, bedroom, and bathroom. Each suite has a large balcony with an expansive daybed, a gas fireplace, a ceiling fan, a hidden TV, a large bathtub with views over the valley, and a wonderful wellness shower. The suites are fully automated offering different mood and time of day settings. Included in your stay are daily breakfast, the minibar, and nightly turndown service.
