About the Lodge
Is Sequoia Lodge adults-only? What is the minimum age?
Yes — Sequoia Lodge is a luxury adults-only retreat. All guests must be 18 years or older. Children and infants are not permitted.
How many suites does Sequoia Lodge have?
There are 14 architecturally designed luxury suites, each with uninterrupted views of the Piccadilly Valley.
What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in: From 3:00 PM
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Suites feature handcrafted and artisan pieces including Jurlique amenities, Nick Mount glass, Jam Factory ceramics, Carla Ejarque handmade tea & coffee cups, and 3 Wishes bath salts.
What special features do the suites offer?
Each suite includes panoramic valley views, a private balcony, daybed, freestanding bathtub, sunken lounge, fireplaces, mood lighting and advanced automated controls.
Is there a full-length mirror in the suite?
Yes — a full-length mirror is located behind the bathroom door.
Do all suites have valley views?
Yes, every suite faces east over the Piccadilly Valley — perfect for sunrise.

Yes, in-room massages can be arranged with advance notice.

Yes — a 60-minute yoga class is offered every morning at 8:00 AM. Private sessions are available at an additional charge.
Are experiences seasonal?
Signature experiences run year-round. Some specialty or offsite activities depend on weather, seasonality and external providers.
Do I need to bring anything special for experiences?
Comfortable walking shoes, layers for outdoor activities, and refined casual attire for dining are recommended. Thick socks are required for the bee experience.

Does Sequoia Lodge have a pool?
Yes — Sequoia offers:
- Two artesian spring-fed hot pools (38°C), open 7:00 AM–10:30 PM — bookings required
- An infinity pool overlooking the Piccadilly Valley — no bookings required (28°C)
Is WiFi available?
Yes — complimentary WiFi is available throughout the lodge.

Is dinner available at Sequoia Lodge?
Yes — guests may dine in the Lounge, in their private suite, or at Mount Lofty Estate’s restaurants next door.
Do Sequoia guests have access to Mount Lofty House restaurants?
Yes — Sequoia guests enjoy access to:
- Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant — award-winning fine dining
- Martha Hardy’s Restaurant — refined two- or three-course dining (open Mon–Thu)
Is breakfast included?
Yes — breakfast is included and served in the Lodge Lounge or in-suite, featuring seasonal South Australian produce.
What is Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant?
Hardy’s Verandah is Mount Lofty Estate’s signature restaurant, renowned for its multi-course menu, wine programme and exceptional views.

How far is Sequoia Lodge from Adelaide CBD and the airport?
- Adelaide CBD: approx. 20 minutes
- Adelaide Airport: approx. 30 minutes (depending on traffic)
Can transportation be arranged?
Yes — we can arrange:
- Private chauffeured transfers
- Helicopter arrivals via Adventure by Air
- Taxis or rideshare services
An 8-seater Mercedes Valente is available for short transfers (pre-booking required).
How far is Mount Lofty House from the city?
Mount Lofty Estate is approximately 12 km, or 15 minutes, from Adelaide CBD.
Bookings & Policies
What is the nightly rate at Sequoia Lodge?
Rates vary depending on dates, season, occupancy and package inclusions. Please enter your travel dates on our website for real-time pricing.
What is the cancellation policy?
Accommodation:
– Cancellations 14+ days before arrival: full refund
– Within 14 days or no-show: full charge
Spa:
– 48 hours’ notice required; late cancellations charged in full
Dining:
– 48 hours’ notice
– Late cancellation: $100pp (HVR & Martha’s) or $50pp (High Tea)
Does Sequoia Lodge offer shuttle services?
No shuttle service is offered, however transfer options are available (see above).
Do you offer gift vouchers?
