Located on the grounds of the already impressive Mt Lofty Estate, the Sequoia Lodge was named after the three large Californian Redwood trees that were planted on the property by Arthur Hardy – the original owner.

In fact, the view is enjoyable from every area of the suite, with a tiered elevated design making this a possibility.
The earthy colour palette is warm and has been chosen to enhance the feeling of tranquility and the connection to nature, while the décor has been carefully curated, using locally made products and pieces, like Jurlique products, Hahndorf Soap, and JamFactory ceramics.
Each suite also features an oil painting by Stephen Trebilcock, who is known for creating impressive paintings inspired by his love of gardening, his early years living on a fruit block and unique local flora of the region. These paintings are also available to purchase – so guests can bring home a piece of the Sequoia Lodge when they leave.
